Here's something fun. Use this link to download and listen to a recording of frog sounds made at a pond on my family farm. Then, go to www.herpsofnc.org, then to the "frogs and toads" page, and there you can choose any of the various species and, among other things, you can learn what their calls sounds like. After listening to the calls of our native frogs and toads, see how many of the frogs vocalizing in this recording you can identify. Enjoy!
